Sasha Souza's blog. She is a wonderful event planner in the city. Yesterday she added an article to
CNNMoney.com about the most stressful jobs that don't pay well. Shocker, Event Planner is #2! It doesn't surprise me a bit. I absolutely love my job and I wouldn't trade it for anything, but I do have to say I have so many more gray hairs since I've started my business. My hair dresser can attest to this. Per this article, event coordinator comes in second to Social Worker. I believe it. :)
And what a horrible story about the poor elephant. I do have to say I have had to deal with similar situations at my weddings as well. In this business you see it all and you have to be prepared for the worst. I don't think any wedding is perfect but it can always be made perfect for everyone attending the wedding with proper planning and quick problem solving skills!
